This is a list of all the characters in the various books that don't appear at all in the movies. There's quite a list, so you may want to make sure you have a lot of time to read. Anything you can add is much appreciated, especially characters I've forgotten (or haven't read about yet). Most of the characters in the books after ROTJ should be here, the main ones at least, but I haven't read many of the New Jedi Order or any of the Young or Junior Jedi Knights, so someone please send me characters from those.

Insane clone of an ancient Jedi Master, working for the Empire under Thrawn. He is killed at the end of The Last Command. |

The spirit of a dead Jedi, she falls in love with Luke and takes a body so she can be with him. She cannot use her Force powers any more, though, so she leaves Luke to live alone. |

A member of Rogue squadron and one of Wedge's best friends, he was accused of treason against the New Republic until he was proven innocent. |

Head of Intellegence for the Empire. She becomes the leader of the Empire after the death of Palpatine, until she too dies. |

A Hapan prince who proposes to marry Princess Leia until she gets together with Han. |

The ex-Emperor's Hand, she makes an enemy of Luke Skywalker before she makes her peace with him. She trains to become a Jedi until eventually marrying Luke. |

A member of Wraith and then Rogue squadrons, a friend of Wedge's. He enjoys making and playing jokes. |

The chief of a large smuggling corporation. |

An Imperial Intelligence agent and Corran's mortal enemy, he is assasinated when he switches sides. |

A member of Wraith Squadron, he becomes Commander until the unit is dispanded. He then joins New Republic Intelligence. |

One of Luke's students until he catches a mysterious disease that destroys his body. Cray designs a mechanical body for his memories. he dies with Cray in Children of the Jedi. |

An Imperial Navy Officer serving under Thrawn until the Admiral's death. He eventually becomes Admiral and takes over the Empire. |
